RP Member another one of those great stories about the veterans of WWII!
It was a dream come true for a World War Two veteran getting to fly on the same plane he flew more than 70 years ago.
The B-17 is the most widely recognized and revered plane from World War II; it's mission was to defeat the Germans.
Today, 70 years later, it took on a different role.

Yes the B-15, B-25 Mitchell, A-26 Avenger, B024 Liberator and the fights and pursuit planes which defended them for short distances or the P-47 and P-51 while defended them throughout their long risky flights to defeat the Germans primarily.
