It seems like Yahoo has been getting nothing but bad news lately. Hopefully this doesn't effect their acquisition.

You have to keep in mind that this happened in 2014 - so who knows how much actual information is missing. What is of greater concern is the fact that most people use the same passwords for multiple accounts, thus leaving their other accounts equally vulnerable to hacking or ransomware.

You could add the fact that it took Yahoo 6 weeks mention the breach and make users reset passwords after they detected it.

It's also worth think about since this break happened in 2014 it's been 2 years and no one noticed a breach of data of this size.
