Not really such a big deal. Yeti coolers are grossly overpriced and other manufacturers are producing the same or better coolers and the NRA will survive because members like myself attend meetings, write letters, do radio interviews, write editorials and stick with the NRA through the recent tragic events that have unfolded across our country. I am proud of the NRA and the education it provides citizens in our country including the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety course. I would caution everyone on RP that you can't blame the NRA for these shooting anymore than you can blame anyone of us on RP. We have seen the laws concerning the ownership of firearms break down time and time again when law enforcement doesn't act fast enough to prevent the purchase or possession of a firearm by someone mentally unstable. Why not address bullying and the fact that many of these kids were well balanced students until someone start to tease and ridicule them to the point where they wanted retribution. How about the violent movies and games we let our children watch.

Maybe I wasn't clear.... I think Yeti is an idiot to fall for these types of boycotts. They never end well for the companies that virtue signal. The NRA will be fine, but Yeti will, in a week I suspect, have to backtrack once the loss in sales is seen. Then they will look like double losers.... I am proud NRA for many years myself!

SFC Jim Ruether - I am after all just a LT! Just saw that Yeti is now saying the NRA lied about the statement... Yeti owners are shooting and blowing up their coolers!

Never bought one of any variation. Looked overpriced for what it was. IMHO.

Yeti is on the way out anyway. I had to buy some Yeti products for work and the store didn't have enough. I asked if they'd be getting more in anytime soon and was told that they wouldn't be reordering them. They said that ever since the cheaper "knockoffs" that work just as well came out, sales had plummeted. That's a free market economy at work!

I went to Academy and looked at a new Yeti tumbler for $40 or something, then went to Walmart found a bigger one for $9...

LT Brad McInnis - I have a knockoff too. I've tested it (inside of course)with leaving ice in it and there will still be some ice in it 24 hours later. Add that to the fact that I live in America where I'm typically always near an ice machine and my need to keep a drink cold for 24 hours greatly diminishes.
