I watched raw (unedited) video streaming on the Internet on Jan 6th and never saw any evidence of insurrection. I watched the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers keeping the peace, even protecting police, and now being vilified by cowardly journalists. I saw police officers, not all of them, acting like goons, tossing explosives into crowds, not to control them, but to incite them to violence. Amazingly, few fell for it. There was no insurrection and President Trump didn't attempt to incite one.

We here on RP have kicked this around over and over. The courts are proving their charges and/or some of the culprits are pleading guilty. I never labeled this as an insurrection, but it clearly was a violent attempt to overthrow the results of an election.

All the rose-colored attempts to change the facts will not do so.
