I definitely think he'll be re-elected. I mean, really, the majority of Republicans could just stay home and still win. They probably should just be preparing their parties and memes that day. Don't even bother going to the polls... POTUS has got this in the bag...

Cpl (Join to see) Well, I guess everyone finds things funny in their own way. I don't think Sanders, or anyone else, is really looking to turn the US in the USSR, and those who say so are being hyperbolic alarmists similar to McCarthy-Era Red Scare folks.

Have you heard his supporters, Bryan? How did castro take over Cuba? If you don't think it can happen here, you are living in a dream world.

Cpl (Join to see) - I have heard. I don't think it rises to anything resembling a threat or concern. Why not? Because a President has limited power and I don't think even a fully controlled Democratic House and Senate will turn the USA into the USSR.

Presidential limits didn't stop FDR from rounding up Japanese or German citizens during WWII or attempting to pack the Supreme court with partisan judges after the court at the time turned down parts of his "new deal" policies. Bernie's ideas have no basis in the enumerated powers of the US Constitution, free health care, free education? Can you point to the legislatures's enumerated powers, Article I Section VIII, which allows the federal government that power?
