If they are adult enough to die for their country they are adult enough to make their own decisions on buying adult products.
You want to ban tobacco products for some you can for all.
We do not need the nanny state in the military.

I was in when you could drink, on base, with military I.D., regardless of age. They changed that shortly after I got out. Seems pretty stupid. I agree with you.

Why not just raise the age of 'adult' to 21 years old? (sarcasm) The government telling us that we're not responsible enough to make our own choices but we're responsible enough to become full fledged IRS contributors at 18. Are we free adults or not?
I digress...
If you're old enough to sign that blank check then by GOD you're old enough to make your own decisions on anything else. I don't care if a kid is 16 years old... he/she signs... he/she is an adult, PERIOD.
Funniest part of this story is the 'bi-partisan' part.
We, as vets and active duty, are a tool and nothing more to politicians.
End rant...........
