Exactly ! I had worked st a place and it was the auto - song on the box because they were trying to push it .. it got over played.. I had plugged in some quarters mainly to play s’thing to give that noise a break.. and what does it play? Right, in the year 2525. Then I heard what I paid for. The reason because it was set up for every half hour.. if another paid for song was due to play and if the little clock determined that it was almost the half hour mark it would wait that 40 seconds and then play that song..
I had enough of it one day. Boss was gone and it was approaching that point in time. The jukebox kinda lost power... oh my! I waited a few and had the busses plug it back in and s’thing else got played.. I seen it was time to sign out.. my frog was all restocked and my A.O. Wiped down and my partner didn’t have anything he couldn’t handle himself.. I went back nsigned outand before I left I put a quarter on a Hank Williams selection.. I think s’thing along the line of minding s’one’s own business ..
