If AG branch detail infantry but discharge as a 1LT before CCC, do you hang up your blue cord and switch your cross rifles for AG shields?

You only wear what you are Branch qualified for. If you were an infantry officer waiting to go to a career course for AG but you never went then you are still Infantry.
