I worked as a warehouseman before enlisting into the army.
In 1967, I worked at the Andersen AFB commissary dry goods wearhouses for $0.75 an hour. Better then the job I had the year before, at $0.50 an hour.
In 1971, I worked in a large store warehouse at $1.12 an hour, sure was glad to joing the army in 1972, the best part, the army gave me 2 boots.
