That is dependent upon what type of unit you end up in. Most if not all bases have military police as law enforcement running the gates, LEO activities such as patrols, speed traps, respond to calls for domestic disputes, etc. once you’ve gone up in rank to add a qualifier like traffic accident then you are able to investigate such things. You can also be ina. Unit that primarily prepares to be down range do long anything from Patrol Transition Teaming like my unit did when we deployed although we were a. Reserve unit. We worked with local police stations in Iraq to help them improve their overall structure by training with them etc. there is also the cage kickers who work in prisons and detention facilities. Hope that provides a little insight I wasn’t an officer so I can’t provide any accurate information to that point but there is a lot we do. In Germany we patrolled with the Polizei downtown Nuremberg and did joint patrols for other situations.
