Is there still a decent chance to get selected to be an aviation warrant if I need an age waiver and waiver for active federal service (AFS)?

I need to renew my flight physical and obtain a letter of recommendation from a warrant officer. I'm currently deployed to a location that doesn't offer initial flight physicals and I have until November before I will require an age waiver. I already need a waiver for active federal service. I really want to pursue this, but at the same time I don't want to waste my time if there's no chance of getting in. Thanks.

Yep, assuming your packet is good. I got an AFS waiver approved easily with 11.5yrs in. The new 10 year ADSO should tell you how bad the Army is hurting for pilots

As SSG (Join to see) said, don't disqualify yourself. Warrant selection approves age and TIS waivers all the time.

The only person that can count or eliminate you is yourself. I won’t hurt to try if it comes down to needing both waivers
