How hard was it for you to get a 15c/15w slot? I'm a civilian looking to enlist for the first time. Did you have to wait long before you found a slot? I'm just tired of my current job and i'm looking to enlist asap. I'm willing to wait but don't wanna wait for 6 months to a year if that's the general timeframe for it.

Slots were plentiful when I switched 8 months ago. The MOS needs soldiers. Should be easy to get a contract.

15C as of October 1 is over-strength 15W is under. The MOS split created a vacuum between Grey eagle and shadow where G/E having the most personnel. This cause them to be 120% over strength.

That would be a recruiter question. What I went through 8 yrs ago is not what you can expect now.

UPDATE! Just went to meps today and enlisted as a 15w. It’s not 15c but I’m excited anyways for it. I only had to wait 2 days for the spot to open
