So I've avoided 4 boards already from the time I reenlisted to reclass. My school start date is finally a month away, and I just got automatic promotable status.

From what I understood previously from my retention NCO is that I could not be promotable for this reclass. My question is just can I keep the p status or do I need to start moving to get this situation remedied. I take PCS leave in 7 days, this came out of nowhere.

As long as you still have your class seat, you're fine.
Also, you can't remove your promotable status when you're mandatory integrated, hence the term mandatory.
If you're concerned, you can always email the 68C proponent to request a grade waiver. They frequently grant grade exceptions to SPC(P)

You can always submit a 4187 to remove your promotable status. It’s not something I would worry about. I just talked to one of the instructors standing next to me and he’s not worried about it either.

Not medical but we had many SPC (p) and even some go thru my TRADOC unit that were reclassing. The promotable status came after you signed the contract. You are not 68C qualified yet so your still competing against other 11Bs for that rank. If you have the requirements to be promoted and name comes up it should not effect it. Although that is just my opinion.

But with the fail rate of the course I would definitely not ask for my status to be dropped so if you fail out you can still earn the rank.
