Anyone here transition out of the military into law enforcement? If so, what was your transition like?

One of my troops just did and he was not impressed. He joined the Nashville, PD and he said that the hardest thing to do in the academy was not to laugh when they tried to "wear you down".

SFC Mark Merino, this answer is locked on! My oldest is an AL ARNG Soldier and just went through the local PD physical "screening". My son is no stud - although he was stud enough to get broke in the spin up to the SFQC (I know, 2nd place is... I'm still proud of him for making it that far) - but of more than 200 people to show only about 40 passed, my son among them. He said it was obvious most had done nothing to prepare.
