If I get medically reclassified, will I be able to choose which MOS I want or is it needs of the Army?

Had surgery on my arm 02/17/2020 and been on permanent profile for 2 months now. Will I be able to choose which mos I want on is it needs of the army?

It's needs of the Army but you can submit a list of ones you want. If class seats are available you'll usually get one of those

Not Really- you will be asked to submit a list of say 6-10 MOS's that you are interested in, Boards bounce those off- Needs of the Service, your training squares/aptitudes, and the physical requirements of the MOS's you choose and what the Service needs.
