Hey everyone. I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I am 28 years old with no prior military service. I am applying for the Army CID Direct Accessions Program. I just completed the ASVAB yesterday. I am currently in the process of getting documents to my recruiter so I can put forward a CID application. I do have two questions; Are there positions still available for CID as of right now? What is the acceptance rate of getting selected into CID Direct Accessions Program? I'm hoping that it's not super competive. If anyone can answer my questions and shed some light that will be greatly appreciated.

There will always be positions available in CID and I hope it always is super competitive so we can ensure the best agents can work for Army CID, instead of just who is left.

Ok great. I wasn't sure if positions were even still available at this point.

I am relieved I found your post after scouring the internet for about 3 hours. I've been digging all over for ANY information on the Direct Accessions Program. Could you help shed some light on this Program? I am a recent High School graduate and I was pondering on enlisting until I heard about this program. Do you happen to know what the application process is like yet or are you still attempting to apply to get into this program? Is it generally competitive to get accepted for this program? I pretty much have all the questions you had in the first place, haha. I'll take any information you may have! Thank you!!
