GoArmy shows the AIT to be 9 weeks. I've never known an AIT to be shorter for those that are reclassing when compared to IET Soldiers.

Yes. Pretty sure. I'm a 35F (it was 96B when I came in) and we had 3 or 4 reclass soldiers in our class. One didn't make it (a SFC). The other three were in class with us the entire 16 weeks, 4 days.

CPL (Join to see), both of your questions are vague and incomplete and cannot be answered. Can you add details or clarify the specific MOS you are reclassifying to? Additionally, I presume your second question regards prior service Soldiers attending a new MOS training at an AIT school and if it is shorter for them ... which will depend on the MOS.
