Is there a way to check if a req is still available?

Hello everyone, I’m pending reenlistment and sent up a hotline for a specific req. I really want this location and don’t want to lose it! How can I check if the req is still available?
42A: Human Resources Specialist
420A: Human Resources Technician
79S: Career Counselor

I am assuming that your Carrer Counselor sent the hotline through our RETAIN system, follow up with your Career Counselor to see the status of your request.

Go to your BN/BDE S1 and ask someone who has EDAS access to check for that particular requisition. Usually you have to be eligible for the Station of Choice Option for reenlistment in order to get that requisition.

If the Req was reserved for you, it is in EDAS , just talk to your Career Counselor
