I have been ordering Brass Pin representations of the Battlefield Cross, and giving them to any veteran I meet who wants one. My way of honoring the son of a friend (and my OPS SGM) who lost his life in Afghanistan in 2008. As an aside it costs more to mail 3 of them to a guy I met in Ireland (US Army Vet) than it did to buy those 3!
