Secondary MOS in two different AMEDD Corps.

I’m a 70H (MSC) in the Reserves. Working on switching to 62A (MC). Can I keep the 70H designation as a secondary MOS?

The first other MOS you are trained in after your training in a Primary is your secondary MOS. Any more after that are "Additional" MOSes (sometimes referred to as 'alternate', but 'additional' is the formal name)

In order to retain that MOS you'll have to keep up any training if required (i.e., hypothetical .. you need to have some specialize refresher training every three years in order to stay current)

Should he work as a Physician and be promoted, would that change up the PMOS and SMOS ? I know that was the case for enlisted back in the stone age.

SP5 Peter Keane - In his case it wouldn't really matter because his promotion board is done by the same board regardless if he's a 70H or 62A (AMEDD Board).

Technically, whichever position he is currently serving in will be his PMOS, so as long as he's in the 62A slot (after acquiring the MOS), then he'll keep that as his PMOS.
