Which duty station, following the "trail", would be the best option to pursue for professional growth in our density?

In the role of a BN level CBRN NCOIC, yes. Documented in previous NCOERs and ERB. I don't know how much weight that will hold. I am definitely looking at that (CBRNWRNO) as an option. Even with being on the trail, I now have a better opportunity to pursue completing warrant packet. I do feel that going to a CBRN unit will greatly enhance my chances though before doing so. L5 or L6, I feel would put me in a better position for acceptance.

They were, at the same time, pretty selective, yet in great need for more warrants. Give it a shot. If not, wait a year or so and build your credentials and try again

Its funny that you mention 20th, SFC. I was in the process of transferring to either 20th or the 82nd Recon Det in Carson before becoming a Drill Sergeant. I wouldn't mind going back to Carson. In your opinion, how's Campbell? If you've been.

SFC(P) (Join to see), definitely need to get in a platoon in a leadership position. Thanks for updating the profile. You don't need any more time on staff. If you aren't up for promotion in the next two years, a Section Sergeant or Squad Leader job needs to be done. Step up and take a platoon right after that. If you aren't L6, then stick with the 20th. Keeps you in the branch arena. I am not sure how promotion boards look at Recon Platoons, but once you are done with the platoon you generally have to go somewhere else because it's back to staff at that point if there isn't a Chem unit on post.
