What's a group support BN like for SF?

I was a combat cameraman assigned to 5th SFG from 2005 til 2007. I was part of the Signal Detachment which fell under Head Quarters Company/Support Battalion. I can only tell you so much about life and environment during the time I stated above, which it wasn't long at all. I spent most of the time overseas deployed with group. But the culture is a little bit different than the regular Army units. In my case, there were only three combat documentation Soldiers so, we were a little busy both overseas and in garrison. If I could point something out from my time in group, is the culture which could be a little shocker for some. Goor luck Sir!

Sir, we have many SF NCOs and Officers that are still active and veteran/retirees on the site, you should search them out and ask for advice or pointers.
