Is it possible for my recruiter to give me a paragraph and line for a duty station?

i recently got a 368 conditional release from the national guard and i want to be stationed at fort bragg. i contacted hrc and they said there is availability for 92a at fort bragg. i told my recruiter i wanted to go airborne and get stationed with the 82nd. is it possible for him to slot me?

100% No. If you get training you won't get a duty station of choice. If you get a duty station of choice you only get a duty station not anything more specific. However if you do get airborne training you'll go to an Airborne unit

HRC isn't going to be the biggest help to you in your conditional release. They look up open positions open to current active-duty members that they can control. For you, you're not going to be on that list until after you complete the conditional releases process.
The good news is due to your rank, and the army won't have to do a lot to approve your transfer, which will help you get station where you want, but it will never be a guarantee.
The final call on where you will be sent will come from the (ROC). Sometimes they will slot you for an available position before you complete MEPS; if that's the case, your recruiter will give you the news. On the other hand, the MEPS NCO might call the (ROC) while your at MEPS, and you'll find out at the same time they do.
If you don't get fort Bragg the best thing you could do is talk to the NCO at MEPS, they can call the ROC and ask for permission to move you to a different slot or unit. However, if they tell you no, that's it. You can take the available contract and join active duty or refuse it and go back home.

Thats the good thing about going in as an E4 is you will have better options with your option 18 contract. However, you won't get the complete list like a recruit or a PCSing service member. The (ROC) will give you options based on the army's highest needs or, rather, the hardest to fill positions in the military.
Also, the army doest assign unit positions to junior members. Meaning you might not receive a unit of assignment from the (ROC), but you will get a duty station with your orders saying unit un-assigned.
All of this will be finalized on your ship-out day and MEPS.

Nope. That is beyond the scope of a recruiter. Their job is to get you into the military and into a school slot. Sure, HRC is showing an availability for a 92A at Bragg but do not count on getting it. It is possible for him to get you a seat in Airborne school, but that is not necessary at Bragg, nor a guarantee you will be with the 82nd

CPL (Join to see) - Not even then. To fill that slot you would have to have completed your training. HRC is not going to slot you at a permanent duty station until you have completed your training and graduated.

SSG Brian G. i’ve completed my bct and ait. i was in the guard for 3 years and got my 368 signed so i won’t serve the rest on that contract. i’ve been enlisted since 2017 NOV.

CPL (Join to see) - Right but you still have to go through Airborne and if you are wanting SF you have more specialized training to go through in that. BCT and AIT are just the first steps.
