My BDE is going to NTC in SEPT and we were told anyone PCSing in OCT will not attend. However, I haven’t gotten orders yet because my RFO hasn’t been released. I have only received an email from my branch manager with details pertaining to me PCSing. Any idea what the outcome maybe for attending NTC? Asking because my lease also end in SEPT and they’re trying to sell the house. Right now they have me jumping through hoops

Let your commander and S1 know that if you do not have a decision soon, you will not have a place to live. Keep calling and emailing branch, use read receipts, and remember the only person that really gives a shit about you is you. Brash I know but none of them will be living in their car come SEPT.

Thanks Sir, I’ll keep emailing branch and talk to my commander again for an update tomorrow. S1 is tracking and said I shouldn’t be going but it’s really not up to him but I’ll stay on it.

You also need to let your your Branch Manager know your circumstances and ask them to hurry it up.

You need to have a talk with your commander. This is really a question about your unit preparing you for your next assignment. If they want you to go to CCC and NTC then they are looking out for themselves. You can do both but it's not really realistic.

Thanks Sir. I was told that I could go and then they’ll send me back. Even then it wouldn’t be enough time because I have to clear and do household goods, which is unrealistic as you stated. I’ll stay on it.

1LT (Join to see) Well, then I would try to report early down there. You can go 30 days out. Your unit can't stop you. It's not the best route but that might be an option. Unless they let you go and get set up before you go to NTC.
