How can I get my pcs orders/projection cancelled ?

I hope you guys can give help me out. I am stationed at fort drum with ETS date of January and I just got projection for Ft Bliss with a report date of February next year. I want to ets. I went to my retention to try to get it cancelled but she told me to signed a dec statement because I plan maybe coming back as an officer in the reserves. How can I get this projection cancelled or can I just reenlist for stabilization or change MOS...? I don't want to go to bliss. please help ?

You sign a declination statement. That's the process. You can still join the reserves.

You would have to have a valid reason other than “I don’t want to go there” to get your assignment deleted. No disrespect, as a Soldier they Army sends us where we are needed to fill a required vacancy, we don’t have the luxury of going where we want or not going to a location just because we haven’t been there before or because we don’t want to leave a place that’s familiar to us. We all agreed to go where we are needed and we are paid to do a job at a specific location. So unless you have a valid reason to request a deletion, it won’t happen, been there, done that, and it turned out to be one of my best assignments ever.....

Thank you but I SFL-TAP and all that . I had two classes left for my degree and was set to finish them and then come back as an officer … no university around bliss that have my program and cant do online..army have been fair to me but they have to let people get out once they are done with their obligation and kindly thank you for your advise

SGT (Join to see) you are being allowed to get out once you're done with your obligation. You can still join the reserves. If your degree is just to become an officer you could switch it. If you only have two classes left you could probably even get a deferment. There is still OCS and ROTC available for routes to become an officer. Declining to reenlist will not injure you
