During my service time we did not use the Reid Method. Also as a Security Investigator for a major International Company I never used it. I found that the "good old boy" approach was often the best. Torture, and that is what the "Reid method" is, is seldom effective. For a subject will confess to anything just to stop the torture. Ask some of the old soldiers who went thru POW Resistance Training in the 50's and early 60's (before mothers complained to congress).
