I was PCS from Alaska in 1990, when I re-enlisted my re-enlistment officer told me the 297th was deployed overseas. So I re-enlisted for current duty assignment. A year later they transferred me to Ft. Monmouth anyways. By then the unit was back from Desert Storm

Pretty short article about the 297th MI BN which is subordinate to the 513th but I was a member of this training event and thought it was cool. We did some great things downrange that year and I made some brothers/sisters for life.
