Those who do this work, take their responsibilities to suffering patients very seriously. Under these dire circumstances they invest great time and energy in healing efforts. However, as a former AF ER medic, I remember more the few we lost more than the many we saved. Of course we did not have any responsibility for the long-term outcomes.
This a a very telling moment. The most difficult moments for me, were telling loved ones in the ER that there loved one died.

Military medics, doctors, nurses, and other military hospital staff members, serve God, country, and their fellow brothers in arms, at all times!
