Honestly deployments are probably a year but less often in the regular Army. I think 2 years ago there were exactly 60 51C NCOs in the Army Reserve so they rotate through them quick.

51C will be great for your resume as long as you finish your degree before you get out so you can get the certification. There will be many more options for you outside the Army as soon as you're certified.

On the reserve side, expect to deploy at least every 24 months for 6 - 12 months. Can't speak to the active community, but we're a high demand/low density community so optempo is generally pretty high

The number one answers in contracting is it depends. There are deployments and missions. Some deployments range from 5-12 months. Some missions range on and off from a week every other month leading up to the big event.
