I graduate tomorrow and i am headed to Fort Campbell, what will happen as soon as i get to my unit?

You'll spend 5 days at reception then you'll be signed to your unit...then on to a never ending FTX.

In processing to fort Campbell takes 3 weeks. You will know what unit you’re going to within that time. I just PCS’d from there the 13th of this month. I’m sure you will get put in a unit in 3BCT that’s where I was.

You will check in provided you don't go on PCS leave. At the airport someone from the unit will puck you up and from there on take you to the base and you will be set up in barracks pending on what time you report you will probably check in the next day and go through indoc process for maybe about a week it's just going to be alot of boring power points and what not. You will check in with medical and dental along with seers if you have dependents.

Let me put it to you this way. First of all congratulations on making a great choice. Second remember why you made the decision to join and never ever forget it. You will meet people who will have formed opinions about their individual service, do not allow their opinion to be yours. Maintain your integrity at all times. Do not allow your name to be for sale. Surg selflessly and tirelessly to complete an honorable mission. Billtrust in the men to your left right front and rear and allow them to build trust in you. Remember you are in the military which requires you to maintain discipline at all times whether in or out of a uniform. I say again discipline at all times. Now go to your unit and have fun.
