It was a long time coming. All of the moving around on the Penn in the past 15 years has changed the landscape.

Actually, moving has been a thing for decades. 1971, when 7ID was deactivated, there was major movement by 2ID. 1991, when we turned the last US sector over to the ROKs, there was again major movment though the 90s and early 2000s.... :-)

Not sure about the geographic proximity, but if Camp Humphreys is beyond artillery range, I’m good with the move.

Humphreys is south of Osan. NK artillery is pretty antiquated. Spent a total of 13 years within 10 miles of the Z or closer. Not that scary of an issue.
