The POW/MIA Flag
Military standards: 3' x 4', no fringe. NEVER CARRIED IN A COLOR GUARD. Carried on its own only for the funeral of a former POW as Personal Color. It is ALWAYS the last flag in any display, except on the 6 national observances for which Congress has ordered its display. On these days, it is flown immediately below or adjacent to the United States Flag as second in order of precedence (it still is flown after other national flags). The 6 observances are National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day,
Flag Day, Independence Day & Veterans Day.
