What is everyones thought on 15q? it is on my short list of choices for my mos to enlist with. I am 28 years old and feel I am being called to serve in the national guard but at the same time would like to use this opportunity to set myself up for a good career outside of the military as well

I was 93C back in the day before they changed it to 15Q. ATC is not for everyone. You have to be quick and able to multi task on a whole new level! Good luck with your choice.

I’m a 15Q and I love it. However, a good amount of stress comes with the job. There are a wide variety of possibilities in the civilian aviation field that can open up by going 15Q. You need to choose a job that you will like doing. Otherwise your time served will be miserable and you will be stuck with it.

Its a decent gig. I am in the tais. After 12.03 came out its a bitch, easy to use though. But as long as you are able to hear a callsign and recall it quickly it will be easy. Just be carefull at rucker dont be a shitbag.
