Good Morning, I am wondering what Army Regulation talks about Mandatory Removal as an Enlisted. I was told it is 8 years time in service for a Specialist to either be promoted, or get out. Otherwise, the big Army gets that soldier removed from the Active Army for being in the same rank too long. I have searched both: AR 601–280) Retention and control points
as well as AR 600-8-9 Enlistment and promotions. I am still not seeing tables, or anything pertaining to this. Thank you.

I’m probably too late but in AR 601-280, it’s table 3-1 on pg 14

Thanks but it is not specifically talking about the Specialist in TIS. I am still wondering, if you have anyonther recommendations, I'll keep looking. Thank you.
