It took me 10 weeks to get mine in TX when there weren't COVID, protests, and increased applications. With all the sh#t going on, I am sure all gov't stuff is taking longer. Plus, you are in Illinois....

It took me less than two weeks to get my Florida CCW because they expedite CCW licenses for Veterans.

LT Brad McInnis Our AG Commissioner is trying to slow-walk CCW applications, but that's not going to turn out well for her. She's trying to use COVID-19 as her excuse, but we knew from the beginning that she wasn't going to be good for 2nd Amendment issues.

It doesn't matter how many times you have had a background check, some agency will always want another one. I think it is ludicrous that a person who has a CCW still has to go through a NICS background check every time they buy a gun. The CCW should trump a NICS background check.

I understand it 110% as agencies don't share information when one is passed. But every time purchasing a gun? That's outrageous. I'm with you on that sir.

Cpl Timothy Blickhahn I have bought six guns in the past three years, and I have had a CCW when I made five of those purchases, and the only thing the CCW has gotten me is being able to bypass the waiting period, but I still had to have a NICS background check for each one.
