CW3 (Join to see) - No doubt, many decades ago when I was an E-5 at Fort Sill, I came across a Chaplin who had been enlisted SF in Vietnam. He got his calling, got out, went to school, became "ordained" (he was a protestant, so I am not sure if that is the correct term), and went back in. I had two questions for him, Why aren't you in an Airborne Unit (bad knees), how do the whiney basic trainees do with you? His response was most of them take one look and turn around. They know their gripe isn't going far. Still makes me laugh when I think about it.

CW3 (Join to see) - Again, I'm impressed. Surprised that you want to compare this hero to that four star bozo, above, but impressed never-the-less.

There no comparing a fake to a real American hero. I’ve meet numerous chaplains who were prior infantry or SOF before deciding to cross over. Just posted it so people understand how diverse the chaplain corps really is.1SG Steven Imerman

Well, goodness, I shall certainly not make fun of stolen valor perpetrators ever again if there is any possibility of offending any "woke" chaplain supporters. Thank you so much for taking my jocular off the cuff comment so very, very seriously.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that a Seal Trident on the left sleeve. And a 4 star General to boot.
