I have never heard of this. This is like the instructor badge. There has been a trend if making several ratings for badges just like Airborne. I'm getting my instructor badge in a couple weeks.

I was the senior instructor at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico Mo from 82-85
We did not have the instructor badge then
