I have been able to get a few fish the past few days. I have had a couple solid ones, but stuck in the two pound realm. I will take it every time no matter how big. Last night had some solid luck and got two solid ones. Sadly, my favorite lure (about a 20 year old hula popper) had a treble hook break off. I know it can be replaced, but this lure has caught so many fish and they always respond a bit different when you make changes. See how it goes. Tight lines all.

Good catch Marty. Fishing here has been slow due to the extreme temperatures. It isn't cooling off at night to cool the waters. So the fish are sluggish and not very active.

I have caught a few that look like they just spawned. Awful late, but we had a cold snap and then a heat wave that moved the water temps all over. Hard to plan what and where to fish.

With our day time highs around 108 and overnights about 88 the fish are just laying in the cooler layers and unless you put the bait on their nose, they're not biting. Even the little one aren't feeding.
