I do not understand the fascination with this person, I find him dull and vapid. I guess his views are so diametrically opposed to my own, and I am sure someone may find me the same way.

Not really a “fascination”. He’s the secretary of transportation during a supply chain collapse. Everyone should be interested in what he’s doing to fix it. However, you are correct, drying paint is more fascinating.

Maybe the most inept SoT in our history and his timing for family leave is a demonstration of where his priorities are. He should have not taken the Transportation nomination, delayed adoptive parenting or moved the family closer to work. Co-parenting does not require 24x7 presence by both parents. The needs of a nation in a supply-chain & transportation crisis demands maybe an inkling of sacrifice from the SoT.
