SoldierStrong is proud to announce Mark Gottwald and Shari Yates as the individual co-recipients of our annual Commitment to Service Award.
This award recognizes individuals and organizations whose leadership, generosity, and unwavering dedication help elevate the standard of health care available to America’s veterans. Through their selfless support, Mark and Shari have played a vital role in advancing SoldierStrong’s mission to deliver revolutionary medical technologies to veterans across the country.
Their contributions have helped make possible life-changing innovations such as SoldierSuit, wearable robotic exoskeletons, enabling paralyzed veterans to walk again, and BraveMind virtual reality systems, which support the treatment of post-9/11 veterans living with PTSD.
“We remain in awe of patriots like Mark Gottwald and Shari Yates who demonstrate reverence to our nation’s heroes through continued and conscious acts of kindness,” said Dr. Chris Meek, Co-Founder and Chairman of SoldierStrong.
Since 2013, SoldierStrong has donated more than $7.3 million in revolutionary medical technologies to VA medical facilities and individual veterans nationwide. Supporters like Mark and Shari make that impact possible.
Please join us in thanking them for their extraordinary commitment to uplifting those who served our nation.
