Any TACP that can answer some questions?

So I am heading towards the path of re-enlisting. This time I am going ID ANG for TACP. I am needing/looking for some additional info related to TACP, pipeline/schooling and of course life inside the ANF, as I was AD.
Some main questions are as follows:
1. What is the tech school setup for permanent party TDY to the different TACP schools? I assume housed with everyone. Is their TDY Pay included? I ask mainly because I am needing to plan financials as while in school I will be taking a hit to pay.
2. What is the tempo from one school to another? Can I plan to maybe work for 4 weeks on my day job between schools?
3. What is the deployment situation for ANG TACP? Is it mainly confined to 5 levels? JTAC?
4. I have always heard that ANG deployments for groups like this is not really an everyone deployed, but comes up in small offerings and guys fight over them.
5. Do ANG TACP get the crap deployments over AD or Reserve?
6. How is rank advancement within the ANG? I always heard it was more of a fast track then AD.
7. What should I expect from the 4 day assessment at the ANG unit for TACP testing?
8. Yes, yes I know this is a heavy PT based position. I am fine with that.

Thanks

Anyone who has been out of TACP more than 2 Yrs won’t be able to help. SIGNIFICANT changes under Special warfare.

If you are concerned about a "hit of pay" you will NEVER make it....... TacPs could give a shit about pay. Stop trolling. You are NOT committed.

You do realize that I stated I am planning for the hit in pay. I just need to plan accordingly.

I can’t give you all the answers, I chose to get out completely with no guard or reserve component. However, I have heard from reliable sources that you can promote up to staff quickly but past that point it depends on openings. They will put you on active status for any trainings and/or tdys. For guard you can usually have a job and school but there may be a cap on income for gi bill, I’m not certain. I have plenty of friends in air guard and they say deployments are mostly voluntary. Hope that answers most questions.
