No need to apologize for passing on information. We wouldn't be on this site if we were offended by additional information. Keep it up!

Now that P09-17 as published (congrats to all!), here are some updated, approximate simple stats for the P-17 scrolls for anyone still following along:
Range: 175 - 279 days on scroll
Mean: 219 days
Median: 201
Mode: 201
I believe that P08-17 is around 280 days today, and P10-17 is 241, still showing on the tracker that we are at Dir of Mil Pers Mgmt (even though the word is that we're at ASST SEC of ARMY, MANNING & RESOURCES).

Thanks for the roll-up. I have a feeling the mean will continue to climb as the remainder of the FY17 scrolls publish.

Does anyone have a current summary of where the various scrolls are (days and office)?

Sir, I believe that the 2 scrolls ahead of us that have yet to publish (P08-17 and P09-17) are both at Asst Sec of Army, Man and Res Affairs at around 240 days on the scroll. P10-17 hit 200 days and we are still at Dir of Mil Pers Management. As far as scrolls behind us, I have only seen someone from P12-17 post that they are at around 137 days, and P15-17 seem to be at Awaiting Off Dep Ch of Staff Personel. The average time on scroll for those that received their orders so far, P01-17 through P07-17, seems to have been about 209 days, but I think we are all situated to fly well past that mark.

CPT (Join to see) - Thanks for the info. There must be a better way to process these scrolls. I've seen TS clearances approved in shorter time-frames.

Hanging on the scroll and frustrated beyond belief. I'm to board next year and wondering what gets published first. Appears like there is no longer a benefit to UVP given the wait. Anyone know where I can find when other scrolls are signed? Just trying to get a gauge since P10-17 isn't moving.

CPT (Join to see) - Thank you. I keep telling myself to quit checking the scroll and the forums, because it's a daily dose of soul crush with so little movement and no information, but hearing what's going on with other scrolls is at least something, so thanks for the info...

CPT (Join to see) - I'm just hoping our fedrec is further along that it appears and that the tracker just hasn't been updated....but that's wishful thinking :/

Progress! We're now at the "Awaiting Off of Judge Advocate General" stage.
On a less encouraging note, it looks like scroll P06-17 just got published 3 days ago. So we're still in for a wait, but at least things are moving forward.

MAJ (Join to see) - It looks like the day counter has "paused." Any idea what may have caused that?

COL (Join to see) - I'm pretty sure it's done that before; it sometimes stops for a few days but then gets caught up. I wish it was predictive of imminent movement to the next step but I don't think it is. With three other scrolls still ahead of us and JAG supposedly being the longest step in the process, I'm going to be surprised if it goes through before the end of the year.

I have a feeling it might be tied to the new fiscal year. If I am not mistaken the scrolls will receive a new numbering sequence due to the new FY.

We're now at 62 days and the counter has turned from green to yellow, but still "Awaiting Off Dep Ch of Staff Personel". So, apparently they're beyond whatever timeline they set for themselves but also not outside of what seems to be the norm for past scrolls.

I am hoping it is simply the result of someone not changing the status in the system, otherwise we are off to a terrible start.

One of my colleagues was just pinned LTC this past weekend at drill, and said that his UVP took approximately 7 months from state promotion orders to pinning on rank. So, best case scenario, I think we're looking at sometime in November at the earliest.

Well that is certainly a good benchmark. What concerns me is that our scroll has yet to clear the initial hurdle.

I'm hopeful that perhaps they just haven't updated the tracker. But not super hopeful.

Judging from what other posters have said regarding their experiences on previous scrolls, it sounds we've still got about 6 months of waiting ahead of us....

Sorry sir, it was U10-17. At any rate, try asking here: https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/why-is-there-such-a-long-wait-for-reserve-component-officer-and-warrant-federal-recognition-promotion

You can also try calling Renee Marshall at G1 who is apparently the most in-the-know person on promotion scrolls: [login to see]

P12-17er here. My paperwork STILL has not hit my iPerms yet. After pushing it up to BN which then pushed it up higher, I'm being told that my record was deleted sometime after it published and before it hit my iPerms. So I'm currently stuck in limbo. The fun apparently never ends...
