Received Welcome Letter from gaining unit at Ft Bliss. Anyone recently or currently a part of 1st SBCT, 1st AD?

Ft Bliss is not that bad of a place. I spent 2 years there in 2-1. I think that's the best PX/shopping area on post by far from anywhere else I've been. My advice for you, if you want to live in a nice area, check out places on the West side of El Paso.

I left Bliss about 9 months ago and was in a unit attached to the 1st Sustainment Brigade there. I’m not sure what kind of specifics you’re looking for but, I’m sure I can reach out and put you in contact with someone from one of their S6 sections.

I'm going to 1st AD, 2nd BCT and my welcome letter says AD Replacement. I'll be reporting in the next few days. I haven't gotten any extra info
