why is it everyone I meet thats in or was in civil affairs or psyops (or the neelw name), tells me they are "special ops"? Then they seem to get offended when I ask, "CA or psyops?"

The guys from 5th Group used to call me the Peace Corp with a gun, then add, but aren't you a conscientious objector, it comes down to recognizing that teams are made up of many specialized individuals that bring their skill sets to the team. We in Civil Affairs need to be grateful that we are part of the team; it is still better then being called MISO soup.
