Was separateed from the army almost 2 years ago from failing APFT. gym freak now.
I want to be back in the army. I am bigger and stronger now and want to enlist. I received an re coder 3. Can I get a wavier or will that be impossible? Also I seen an article about the army changing their pt test entirely. If I can get a wavier, how long will it take? Photos as evidence of my progress. Got out for taking 18 minute for the 2 mile and only weighed 106lbs after discharge. I'm 23

At 23 shouldn't you be running the 2 mile in 15 something? I've been out for a while, dont know if it's changed

Yeah, I been out awhile and I'm finally ready to pass a pt test again. Going to keep making progress. My goal is to get into the 14 minutes. Already knocker 4 minutes because when I started I was at 20 minutes

When I joined I ran just u see 2 miles in 20 minutes. When I graduated basic I ran 14:10. Before I joined I could barely do 42 pushups in 2 minutes and I was always good at sit ups I was doing about 75. When ibgraduated basic I was doing 78 pushups and 102 sit ups. So, you should be just fine as long as you work for it.

The best thing to do would be to talk to your recruiter, they will know the current ins and outs. You will probably have to take a PT test or two to get a waiver if they are offering them. Also Enlisting in the NG and then going active might be an option or opting for a crittaclly shor MOS.

I got out in 2013 with an RE 3 and got back in with a waiver in 2016, my best advice is not to quit and keep working at it. If you want it, it'll happen
