Some of you may remember the post I did a few years back regarding free Chilton manual access for soldiers through AKO. With the new AKO 2.0 having gone live, the old method no longer works. Now, instead of using AKO, it is available to all personnel who have access to https://www.militaryonesource.mil/.

Once logged in, click the Menu button, then the MWR Digital Library. From there, scroll down and hit the red "Access the Library" button. From here you can either search for Chilton in the search menu, or scroll down, hit load more, and find it listed as "Gale Chilton Automotive Maintenance Library."

After that you will be logged into the Chitlon database and can look at steps and procedures for your vehicles, take ASE Test Prep questions, or see active bulletins for you vehicle.
