Where are some of the best/worst places the Military has sent you to? What are some of your experiences related to those locations?

I think the best place I got to go on the USAF dime was Key West, FL. We were supporting a Pararescue Training operation that was diverted from Patrick, AFB to Key West because the parachute drying tower "broke". I thought the parachute drying tower breaking was a coincidence since the time we were down there was over Spring Break, but I wasn't complaining! 3 Weeks in Key West with a bunch of PJs, Per Diem and Spring Break going on... Where do I sign up for that again?!

The worst place would have to be Sheppard AFB, TX in the summer... marching to and from class in BDUs, at 100% humidity and a 100 degrees sucked. I never deployed so I don't have any horrible stories associated with that so go easy on me guys and gals!

I spent 5 years of my career in Italy, including a short TDY to the coastal town of Rimini. We stayed in a hotel on the beach, and it was awesome.

I also spent 6 years in Hawaii working SIGINT. I would go back to either of places in a heartbeat.
