Biden is the nation’s second Catholic president and frequently describes himself as a “devout Catholic.” The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is an “abominable crime” that is “gravely contrary to the moral law.”

Certain particularly grave sins incur excommunication (Catechism of the catholic Church 1463). I don’t get a vote on that matter. It does give me concern.
My personal concern is to follow St Paul’s admonition:
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.
I Timothy 2:1
To pray for our government leaders.

Surprised there has not been more said by the Chirch. It does reflect the demeanor within the Catholic faith at this time as people are not dedicated to much outside themselves. Kennedy faced much more scrutiny than the current administration.
