This sickens me! Saying that though I'm hoping as an advisory member he had nothing to do with the swindling!

Agree, but I've already seen two commercials that he made for the company on the news so that seems more than an advisory capacity.

What bothers me is that, like the allegations against Justice Kavanaugh, we are want to try Matthew Whitaker in the court of social media rather than in the state or federal court system. Planting the seed that he is guilty by spreading allegations, without also airing the evidence on which the allegations are based, taints the jury pool. Any competent attorney could argue the media coverage will prevent him from getting a fair and unbiased trial in a court of LAW. In America of the last century we had this thing of a presumption of innocence until convicted in a court of law, but since the constitutionally elected president became POTUS 45 far to many people in America prefer to hold court on the internet and on social media. To have gotten his position in the DOJ Matthew Whitaker would have been the subject of some degree of background checks by the FBI, standard procedure for men and women being appointed to high federal positions. As the FBI's investigation of the law firm he was an ADVISORY board member of seems to have failed to produce any admissible evidence of wrong doing that would have resulted in criminal prosecution, I contend this is another smear campaign to thwart a presidential appointment. THAT GIVES ME RISE TO QUESTION OUR ADHERENCE TO OUR OATH OF OFFICE AS MILITARY OFFICERS. This campaign is beginning to look like subversion of the president or at least the office of president. If MATHEWS is guilty of anything let the evidence prove it and a jury convict him. As members of the military we should be above this type of prosecution of a citizen in the court of public opinion. Not ONE of those high standing moral men and women who demonized Justice Kavanaugh, and still sit in the senate, have ever come forward, following the FBI investigation which failed to substantiate Dr Ford's allegations, and admit their personal complicity in the smear campaign against him. Is this how leader act; promote allegations, conduct witch hunts, destroy individual careers? I am so glad I retired when I did, before we became judge and jury based on allegations posted on the internet.

He was confirmed by the Senate, along with being vetted and security clearance. Sounds like another Kavanaugh smear.

Capt Nick Schwartz Depends if he is, in fact, a principle or an inferior.
