SGT (Join to see) I will start with my negative. I hate when Athlete's thank divinity for winning anything. As messed up as the world is right now, it is ridiculous to think the God, Allah, Jehovah, Buddha, Krishna, Odin, Mother Earth, or any other divinity is really interested in who wins the Heisman Trophy.
I love the tuxedo he chose. He is a Louisville Cardinal, and wearing those colors to accept the Heisman is awesome.
He is obviously nervous, which is a funny thing to see in someone who was so poised throughout the football season. Maybe it would have helped him to have a blitzing linebacker during his speech.
Overall it is great to see someone who is humble and appreciative win the award. Congratulations to Lamar. Good luck at the next level. I hope that he breaks the NFL Heisman Curse.

SGT (Join to see) I missed this last night, thanks for the share:
Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson won the 2016 Heisman Trophy. In winning the award, he beat Clemson’s Deshaun Watson, Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook, and Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers.
Jackson’s Heisman victory isn’t surprising. He was the most exciting player throughout the college football season. Despite his team finishing the regular season 9-3 with a pair of losses at the end, Jackson was truly electrifying and caught the attention of many along the way. He accounted for 51 touchdowns on what was the best scoring team in the nation, and it was almost impossible to pick against him.

Good choice IMV ... though I'm glad it wasn't on me to make the pick among Watson, Mayfield, Westbrook, and Jackson. Particularly between Jackson and Watson. I liked Jackson's speech ... not polished, genuine, and he, a bit like most Medal of Honor winners I've heard, shared the award with others. I like that.
